I just got back from Texas. 1,260 miles each way...all slab...on the XX.

Around Kerrville, TX they have the "Twisted Sisters." We have as good or better around VA and WV, but it was interesting. At least you can enjoy some of the view rather than have trees on one side and cliff face on the other.
And the food....
