Fall CSBA Rally ideas???? was created by Scott #184
I know it's early, but anyone have any ideas on when/where we are going to hold a rally? The mean old planner of the Spring Rally picked a date I can't go. Made me choose between the anniversary trip with the wife over the CSBA spring Rally.... admittedly, I mulled it over for a few weeks.

No solid ideas yet, however, I'd be happy to help plan one.

I'd suggest Kerrville, TX, but it might be too far for most.
Excellent roads, but THE FOOD...
There's a place called The Cowboy Steakhouse. A tad pricey, but the amount you get and the quality will have you waddling out like water buffalo when you're done. One of THE BEST places I've ever dined at, and I've been all over.

Challenge accepted, Old man (John)... with the blessing of El Presidente' of course!
Mark, do you have any parameters with which you prefer? I have some thoughts of maybe Deals Gap area with a day toward the Helen or the Suches Loop in GA. I also have a connection in WV near Franklin. A B&B a buddy of mine has opened which can handle a group of about 20, not including anyone who wants to primitive camp. He rides as well and for those desiring the off road excursions, I have personally taken in the roads there and they are great... paved and unpaved alike. And then there is always NY and Western PA! We know and love all the old CSBA haunts, and does anyone every really get tired of Western NC, I mean really????

Any place you want to plan is fine, perhaps further north than NC, but it's only a suggestion. I don't primitive camp, so have a bed option for me!
