MISSION STATEMENT

The Christian Sport Bike Association is an outreach ministry and service organization committed to Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe our purpose as a fellowship of Christians is to comply with the great commission given by Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:18. To fulfill Our Lord's teachings, the Christian Sport Bike Association will tend to the spiritual needs of motorcyclists, provide support for any member in need and commit to spreading the Word of God to throughout the world by any means at our disposal.

FAITH TENETS

We declare Jesus Christ as the Head of our organization, the Holy Spirit as our power and the Word of God as our guide. The Christian Sport Bike Association is open to all Christians. The tenets of faith we believe:

1. The Bible to be the unerring Word of God and our sole rule of faith. (2Timothy 3:16-17).
2. The virgin birth of Jesus Christ (Matthew 1:23)
3. Jesus is the only begotten Son of God (John 3:16)
4. Jesus lived a sinless life (II Corinthians 5:21)
5. Jesus' vicarious death on the cross was for the sins of the world (John 1:29)
6. Jesus was bodily resurrected on the third day and now sits at the right hand of God making intercession for believers (Mark 16:9-19)
7. Jesus will come again in the future for His church (I Thessalonians 4:16-17)
8. Jesus is the only name under Heaven by whom we must be saved (Acts 4:12)

DUES & BENEFITS

General membership meetings will be held annually. Chapter meetings will be held at the discretion of the state chapter membership.

The CSBA board of directors voted in September 2001 to request an annual $20.00 contribution* of all new and existing members (Additional $5.00 for associate membership for anyone residing at the same address with a full member) to allow the association to:
1. Defer normal operating costs of maintaining a web presence, Bible tracts for distribution and costs involved with setting up information tables at sport bike events/races.
2. Continue the association's "Free Bible Fund" goal of placing N.I.V. Bibles in the hands of those who can not afford to buy one themselves.
3. Allow the CSBA to establish and maintain a membership welfare fund. The welfare fund would provide for members who have experienced the loss of a family member, hospitalization, loss of personal possessions from fire/flood, etc.
4. Assist our partner ministry, BreakThrough Ministries, Harrismith, South Africa, in the care and feeding of hundreds of homeless orphans.

* Military personnel are exempt from membership dues while on active duty status.

The CSBA board of directors does not and will not turn away any Christian wanting to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ to others but feel they can not apply because of a financial burden. If you have a financial burden and don't feel you can afford the annual contribution, submit your application and indicate you have a financial burden. Since our inception no applicant has been turned away because of an inability to contribute toward annual dues.

In exchange for your contribution you receive:

1. A CSBA embroidered patch and membership card.
2. Free admission to all CSBA national and regional rallies. (Non-members are asked to contribute $25.00)
3. Discount on motorcycle parts and accessories through our approved vendor
   
4. The gratitude of the board of directors in helping us to serve others.

If you are in agreement with the mission statement, tenets of faith and annual membership donation, you may either apply online using our secure form or by mail. Once your application is accepted and processed, you will receive by return email a URL so you may submit your membership payment.

If there is a chapter near you feel free to contact them before joining. You can attend meetings and go on rides with them to get firsthand experience before making your final decision.

NO SALARIES ARE PAID TO CSBA BOARD MEMBERS OR ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF. THE CSBA DOES NOT OWN OR LEASE ANY PROPERTY, BUILDINGS OR MAINTAIN ANY REAL ESTATE HOLDINGS. The Christian Sport Bike Association is a non-profit corporation registered in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
