Well, if you missed our CSBA Breaking Bread Luncheon | Saturday January 9th , 2016 - Here’s another chance to come join our local chapter (www.pacsba.org) along with our friends & families as we break bread in fellowship and rejoice for the new riding season at our “Breaking Bread Luncheon” in February. In keeping with tradition, here’s your opportunity to meet new friends and learn more about the CSBA as an organization. Meet some of our ride leaders, learn more about our CSBA Day at the Races venues, and most importantly – reconnect and make some new friends that share your passion of riding.

If you find yourself with a few free hours on Saturday February 7th, we encourage you to come out and enjoy a nice lunch with us at the Cheesecake Factory, 640 West Dekalb Pike, King of Prussia, Pa. - Pass the word and invite out your friends and families for a nice lunch with us – and don’t be afraid to bring your children – Breaking Bread is a family event. Additionally, one of our good friends, Christian recording artist Carmen Brown has mentioned she will be stopping in to support our cause - what a blessing. She’s an amazing talent - you won’t want to miss this luncheon!

Come out and support our mission of enjoying fellowship… See you there!

GEARING UP to be ALL IN…

“We have different gifts… if it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage… if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.”
ROMANS 12:6-8 NIV

Last month we discussed Satan’s tricks and sharing your gifts... This month we focus on what it really means (and feels like) to be ALL IN...

For those of you that don’t ride we pray for you J, but for those of you that do ride – envision this with me: It’s ride day; it’s finally here. You wake up at 6am and check the weather…forecast looks good – CHECK! You validate there is no pending issues and that the rides is still a go – CHECK! Then, on to your bike – you check for leaks, check your tires, check your lines and brakes, make sure your docs are current – CHECK! Then lastly, you start to gear up (because you know CSBA Rides are serious and they/we stress full gear is required for our rides) but more importantly you plan to be fully prepared for what the day brings. You’re not looking to go down, but you’re planning for the best possible day, while prepared for the worst – CHECK! You throw your leg over your bike, you mentally prepare for the trip ahead. Whether its 20 miles or 200 miles, you’re navigating the road, the turns, the traffic patterns. While doing all that, you have anticipation for the day, seeing your friends and most of all enjoying the day of riding. At that point as you pull out and start off with your trip – YOU”RE ALL IN! You’ve committed yourself to the cause and you’re moving forward. It’s a great feeling of ready, willing and able.

For 2016 our CSBA Chapter wants you to also jump all in with us as we continue to serve God and support our full mission. As I shared last month, these breaking bread connections are our way of reconnecting and re-committing ourselves to practicing and leading with love and fellowship. We’re exploring ways to share the gospel while still keeping with our theme of faith, fellowship and love of riding. We want to penetrate our friend’s heart to action, both personally and professionally. How can you help? Take one thing you feel you can be “ALL IN” with and share it with the group. Maybe it’s leading during a ride; or participating in one of our fund raisers; or possibly attending and/or manning one of our information booths. If all of us joined hands and forces, we can only build on what we have and get stronger. That’s what I’m doing – I’m asking you to do it too.

As I’ve shared in previous messages, God intended for us to help each other – don’t burden yourself with all the weight of everything on your own – God is there to help (through others) to lighten the load. But it’s like anything – the more you invest of yourself, the more your reward will be. It’s time to GET ALL IN!

Of course, my door is also always open - Blessings!

This location is a favorite and also provides families a neat mall to enjoy after our lunch event. It's a keeper. I'll work on a revised place for us next year for January's Breaking Bread, but I think this location for February is working well for us.
