I am planning on going up to the Marion area and scout out the hotels for our fall rally. I haven't forgot..... just been a hectic summer !!

I have booked my room at the Comfort Inn located in Atkins, VA. This is just east of Marion and looks to be a much better choice over anything in Marion. Christy and I will be there late Thursday night ready to ride Friday and Saturday. We will plan on riding the back of the dragon and 421 the snake along with many other roads around the area.

Thanks for the heads up. I may get a room there shortly.

I have planned to go up to the area next Wed. Aug 31st to check out the Comfort Inn in Atkins as well as check out some of the roads on a route J. Mathis has put together. I will post up next week the results.
