Hello all,

On August 13th the Central PA chapter of the Christian Sport Bike Association will be meeting together for breakfast @ 8:00 am at the Marysville All American Diner. A ride follows up to the coal regions of central Pa with kick stands up around 9:15 am. The ride will end up near Trevertown, PA. All bikes and beliefs are welcome. The rules for the ride are below:

The day started cool and humid with some fog. It felt nice, almost refreshing to be out on the ride. This was on my way to the diner, by the way. There was a few people coming that cancelled due to scheduling and health issues, I missed you all. I hope to see you next month. When I got to the diner for breakfast I met up with Mike and Jared for breakfast and we had a good time chatting about jobs, bikes, and family. After breakfast, Jared had an appointment to make, so Mike and I got fuel and rode out. We did about 5 miles of highway and got off on the twisty roads. We stopped at an over look to shoot a pair of pictures and then got moving again. I tried a new road, and it was nice, but I couldn't find the 2nd road that got us over the ridge. After Mike missing a corner, and me failing at a U-turn we got to a stop sign where I told him we were off the route and lost. What he said was great, "we are NOT lost, we are riding!" What a great attitude, we had a good time riding that day. We made a wrong turn on the right road after that, but we were soon on our way again. Once we got up and over a few ridges on a beautiful twisty road, we met up with a group of riders off the side of the road. They couldn't find their way since there was no cell or data service there. We told them to follow us and we got them back on track. After that we had a nice lunch at our lunch stop. We spent more time talking about our lives that I forgot to read the Scripture for the month, DOH! Since the both of us lived on the East side of the Susquehanna, we didn't want to go back west again, so we ended the ride there. We took the scenic ride home, but hit an unexpected detour, so we went "exploring" and found a nice road which lead to a really nice road, oh yeah! Once we got to I-78 we waved and split off. I got home around 2:30 in the afternoon and it was hot out by then, especially in leather. This ride I didn't get a chance to recon because I was called into work, so it had my trademark 3 U-turns in it. It was typical CSBA, not a ride but an adventure. Our next ride is September 10th, I hope to see you there.
